Stephen M. Boreman

STEVE is an experienced California Medical Board licensing and government relations attorney.

His extensive legal and political background includes 15 years service as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of California. During that time, Steve worked for 10 years in the Health Quality Enforcement Section where he was the Attorney General’s liaison to the California Medical Board's headquarters office as well as the Osteopathic Medical Board. He has a broad background in administrative hearings, writs, trials and appeals for physicians and other state licensees. Steve also served as a legislative liaison to the California State Legislature. He received the Attorney General’s Award for Excellence for his efforts.

Steve is a nationally certified Trial Practice Instructor, National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA). He was Managing Editor of the U.C. Davis Law Review (1991-92). Prior to law school he was a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.).
